Q: Briefly tell us about your journey to the Finger Lakes wine industry and to Lamoreaux Landing . A: I was introduced to alcohol production by bluegrass musicians who made whiskey. I starting working as a distiller in highschool then went to Finger Lakes Community College for their Viticulture program. I accepted the assistant winemaking position at Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars in 2017, and was promoted to Winemaker in 2022.

Q: What is your favorite variety of grape to work with and why? A: Riesling because it tastes good and it can make many different styles.

Q: What is you favorite variety to drink? A: Whiskey

Q: What is your favorite local restaurant and what is you favorite thing to eat there? A: La Fiesta Brava. Primo Burrito

Q: Where would you travel if you knew you would have to stay there for up to a year? A: Spain

Q: Name a song that always gets you on the dance floor. A: Get Lucky

Q: If you could use just one condiment for the rest of the year what would it be. A: Ranch

Q: If you could choose any person from history to be your imaginary friend, who would it be and why? A: Arminius because he is strong, brave and crafty.

For three generations our family has been growing grapes on the shores of beautiful Seneca Lake using only sustainable winegrowing practices.
