Hailing from the Windy City (Chicago), Micaela developed a passion for service and wine through her work in the restaurant industry.  As an avid reader, she finds that the story behind the wine matters deeply, especially when it comes to working in a guest-facing capacity:  “I think the best thing about wine is its ability to hold memories.  I love how education and appreciation of the environment around us is at the core of the tasting experience, allowing us to take it all in and enjoy life for a while.”  In her free time, you can find Micaela hiking, cooking or curled up in a cozy chair with a cup of joe (or Riesling) and a good book.
