Bill Mowson

Finger Lakes, New York

original landscape and nature watercolors

My work comprises an effort to depict the beauty, light and magic of New York State's Finger Lakes region in transparent watercolor. I use elements of abstraction and passages of wet in wet as well as calligraphic and drybrush techniques to bring the observer into my works. The highest quality transparent pigments and 100% cotton paper are used for my original works. A Giclee process is used to create reasonably priced limited edition reproductions in several formats.

Bill Mowson is a multiple award-winning and nationally recognized watercolor artist. His work has appeared in numerous regional, national and international publications. Bill's original paintings are a part of many private and corporate collections throughout the U.S.

On display in our Tasting Room through June 2017
